I have lived in San Antonio del Mar since 1979 with my spouse, Guillermo Alvarez (civil engineer). I have three sons: William (27), David (26) and Dario (24), all employed in professional occupations. I enjoy living in San Antonio del Mar.

My wife, Sandra, and I moved into our newly built home in San Antonio del Mar during Christmas season 2003 and subsequently decided to make San Antonio del Mar our permanent residence. We moved here from rural northwest Arizona (100 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada) where we lived for almost 25 years. Before retiring, Sandra taught high school and elementary students. I worked for the Superior Court in Mohave County as probation officer and department administrator. We have four children and one granddaughter. I am looking forward to working with our Administrator and the Homeowners’ Committee in making San Antonio del Mar an even more attractive community in which to live.

Craig Schaefer moved to SADM in 2002 from Los Angeles. Craig was a working actor for twenty years in Broadway tours, television, films and commercials. He transitioned to producing, directing and choreographing award winning musicals and light opera productions across the US, Australia and New Zealand.
My philosophy is to enjoy life, laugh daily, be fair, and if you look for the joy you will find it. I love my home and this community.
Regarding SADM, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Let’s find solutions.

I have been living my dream of being at the beach as a full time resident of San Antonio del Mar for over 20 years. Over those years, I have worked managing a number of foreign owned “Maquiladora” factories in Tijuana like Sony and Bush Industries.
For the last two years, I have been selling real estate here in Baja enjoying the flexible hours, meeting people, and working close to home.
My 14 and 16 year old daughters have been educated in Mexico, both speaking fluent Spanish and English and my wife manages an aquatics program for the developmentally disabled population in San Diego. We enjoy beach activities like walking our dogs, surfing and volleyball.
It is my hope this board can join the community together for the common goal of improving San Antonio del Mar.
