AUGUST 14, 2008 MEETING MINUTES OF SAN ANTONIO DEL MAR HOMEOWNERS COMMITTEE

Members Present: Al Rosen, Javier Gonzales, Dora Alicia McIntosh, Craig Schaefer, Liz Walton & Dr. Martha Alvarez.
Items Discussed:
· September 15th Fiesta — Dr. Alvarez will coordinate. Have karaoke. Need grill for carne asada. Martha to provide description of Fiesta to Al for creation of flyer and public notice.
· Sept. 20th Cleanup the beach day - Proyecto Fronterizo — San Diego to Ensenada. Need captains for the three beach areas: Pool, South and 400 block. Liz to create flyer for clean-up. Trash bags and gloves provided.
· Al plans to create a welcome letter and information sheet for visitors. To include: pool hours, “no fireworks”, residential community guidelines, trash details, etc.
· Board needs to meet with local real estate agents regarding what is best for SADM.
· Dr. Alvarez is investigating any additional past due tax obligations for SADM .
· Investigating solutions for the constant repair of the moving barrier at the South Guard House: Aluminum, wood?
· Currently about 200 homeowners pay dues. Approximately 300 do not pay. Discussion on how to involve the 300 homeowners who contribute nothing to SADM?
· Discussed concern over the wall that is about to fall down at the 900 block of Cantil. Martha indicated that she has talked to the homeowner and authorities many times in the past with no results so far.
· Discussed Church groups that rent in SADM and disturb the neighbors with loud music and noise.
· 800 block of Cantil street lights are out again.
Previous Items:
· CESPT says they will take down pump structure at the South beach entrance and cover the area.
Actions:
· Al is making new street signs, “dogs on leash”, “no dumping trash”, etc.
· Dr. Alvarez met with Alfonso Torres, State Official (SEMARNAT) for the Federal Zone, regarding Federal Zone and Green Area regulations. Martha emphasized with Torres that San Antonio does not want to lose common green areas. She indicated that it was a productive meeting.
· The drains between Bahia and Playa to the beach were cleaned; dirt removed and metal grates replaced.
· The up-and-down barrier at the South guard house was replaced again.
· Down telephone line on Isla was reported to Telnor.
