v The Community’s response to the Aguinaldo — the Christmas gift to our workers — was kind and generous. Over $4,000.00 (USD) was raised. About half of that amount was distributed to our workers to cover the customary and legal money due to them. We have decided to give our workers the remainder, divided proportional to their time of service with the community. Thanks to all who contributed and gave a timely message of appreciation to our workers for their hard work and commitment to our community.
v The new 2009 vehicle ID stickers are available. If you have not received the sticker in the mail, pick them up at the Administrator’s office (294 Morro). Place the sticker on the front windshield of your car. These stickers are available to all residents, whether they pay dues or not. This is a matter of security. It helps our guards to readily identify cars as belonging to residents and reduces waiting at the gates.
v There will be a Homeowners General Meeting at the park on Saturday, February 14, starting at 10:00 a.m. This will be the first meeting of the new year. We will present the last financial report for 2008 and a proposed budget for 2009. We will discuss our goals and plans for the coming year. Thanks to all who paid homeowners dues and helped keep our community secure and attractive during this past year
v Please let us know if you change your email address. Encourage neighbors who have email accounts but do not receive information from us to submit their addresses. A goal for this year is to reduce mailing costs by having as many homeowners as possible receive general information and individual financial statements through the internet
v We still need a vehicle for our security patrol. If you can donate or have a used but sound vehicle for sale at a SADM-affordable-price, contact us.
